My family and I had a wonderful trip touring the Canadian Rockies thanks to Ian and Natalia at Discover Canada Tours. The summer premium tour is the perfect balance of time seeing all the Great Lakes, mountains and glaciers. Ian went above ..and beyond to make our group comfortable throughout the journey. He’s an excellent driver, comedian, storyteller and a very patient and helpful problem solver. When my father accidentally forgot his cell phone in Banff he helped suggest how best to get it couriered back to their office in time before we leave. Natalia his assistant was also very lovely and helpful assisting us with all our questions. The Summer premium tour had us stay in the best accomodation- Mike Wiegele, Mount Royal and Sutton Place were all incredibly comfortable and a pleasure to stay. We were a group of 4 adults (family) and everyone has the same positive feedback. The tour was great. The sights were incredible, the hotels were luxurious and our group was fun. What made this tour even more enjoyable was our guide Will an..d our assistant guide Kira. They were resourceful, knowledgeable, accommodating, funny and just great company. Loved the experience, made me proud to be a Canadian. We have some many beautiful wonders in this country. Riding through the mountains, visiting lakes and falls and the charming towns added to the experience. The hosts, Christopher and Ian.. were awesome. Covers all the key attractions. Our tour group was about 22 people and was the perfect size. The hotels were also great. The views and breakfast at the top of Sulphur Mountain (included as part of tour) was a highlight! Would also recommen ..d doing the optional Athabasca Glacier excursion. Driver Will and guide Kira were the best. They were professional and went beyond to make the tour fabulous! Hotels were top notch and the bus ride very comfortable especially for my very tall husband. We are so glad that we choose this tour.. over the Rocky Mountaineer train.
