Day 3 Yellowstone National Park
Winters in Yellowstone are special! The moisture in the air falls like diamonds in a sparkly haze-it’s what many visitors come for. Wildlife sightings are world-class in the winter, as the summer transfers into the season of the wolves. An early start today. You are in for a real treat as you embark on a local Wolf Tracking Tour with an expert Wolf Tracker! For the well known wolf packs of Yellowstone, the winter is their prime opportunity to feed. This tour provides the very best opportunity to observe wolves in the wild as they play, feed and defend with their pack.
Mid-afternoon, after your excursion, enjoy some time to explore Mammoth Hot Springs before returning to Gardiner.
Day 4 Yellowstone National Park
Today, we move to West Yellowstone. Snow coaches in Yellowstone are mounted on oversized low-pressure tires which allow our coaches to travel smoothly over the snow, while keeping you higher up for better viewing! Transfer through the park this morning, stopping for wildlife viewing opportunities and photos before arriving to West Yellowstone in time for lunch.
Your guide will transport the van and your luggage and meet you in West Yellowstone.
This afternoon, enjoy an included visit to the Wolf and Grizzly Bear Center. This rescue center offers visitors to the Yellowstone area an opportunity to observe, understand, and ultimately appreciate grizzly bears and gray wolves up close.
