This New Hampshire village on the south shore of Lake Winnipesaukee is a popular vacation spot within the city of Laconia and uses the slogan "Where Lake Winnipesaukee Begins." Weirs Beach was named for the large beach along the lake and its main pier was constructed in 1925.
