About Stockholm Palace

The Royal Palace of Stockholm is the official residence of the King and a cultural monument open to the public year-round. Nicodemus Tessin built the Baroque palace on top of the former Tre Kronor Palace, which a fire destroyed in 1697. Stockholm Palace has more than 600 rooms, seven floors and an inner courtyard.
