About Mozart's Birthplace

Born on January 27, 1756, Mozart grew up in the center of Salzburg, developing a passion for music and opera at a very early age. Today his home has been transformed into a three-story museum - Mozart's Birthplace (Mozarts Geburtshaus) - featuring his music, original portraits and documents from his life.
