This picturesque medieval hilltop town has a walled old quarter that comprises most of the town. Laguardia is replete with cobblestone streets and a 10th-century castle. Its Iglesia de Santa Maria de los Reyes has a stunning 14th-century Gothic doorway with sculptures of the disciples and other motifs. Laguardia is also known for its superb wines and just outside town you will find Bodegas Ysios, a "temple dedicated to wine" with a wave-like roof made of aluminum and cedar wood.
