About Antwerp

This cosmopolitan city is Belgium’s "second city" and has its biggest port. Antwerp is famous for its nightlife, restaurants, high fashion and diamond dealers; in fact, 80% of the world’s rough diamonds and 50% of its cut diamonds are traded here annually. Antwerp has an impressive medieval center chock full of cafes and cobblestone streets that also includes a riverside fortress. Must-see sights include the Renaissance architecture of the Grote Markt, the central square in Old Town; and the Cathedral of our Lady, a stunning Gothic cathedral where several Rubens paintings are displayed.
