The tour was educative and well conducted. The guide was knowledgeable and conducted it well. Right choice to have taken the tour. May be you could improve on the picnic lunch.
Avila and Segovia are AMAZING, They are a MUST SEE areas. The reasons I gave it 4 out 5 stars because: (1) Julia Tour's office, the day of the tour, was totally did-organized. There was only one lady handling all other tours, so she was ove..r-worked and therefore she was little short and rude. and (2) Before we got to Avila, we stopped at little café which was packed with at least 5 other tour buses, so you couldn't even have a cup of coffee or water, (wrong stop) but it has an amazing view of the CastleRead full review
The trip was contented. But the group was too large and the tour guide didn't count for the group each time after dismiss. I got lost already at the very beginning of the trip. I was visiting by my own for the whole morning.
We had a great time on our tour to Segovia and Toledo from Madrid. Very comfortable bus and we loved our guide Steffi! She was very informative as well as entertaining. Both city tours had both guided and personal time which was great. Tol..edo has lots of steps so if you have mobility issues take note. Segovia is our favorite and this was our second visit. The Alcuzar tour is not guided so read up on its history.....it's amazing! Thanks for a great day!Read full review
We had a great time and our tour guide Estephi (Stephania) was the best! She did a wonderful job of giving us the history of Toledo and Segovia in an informative and entertaining way. The walking tour in each city had both group and individ..ual time to do some exploring on your own. Toledo had a LOT of steps so if you have mobility issues this may not be the tour for you, but it is so worth the climb! You will get the highlights of the city and information of Many sights that you may wish to see if you return on your own. Segovia is hands down our favorite place! The aquaduct, the grand cathedral and the Alcuzar are the highlights of the city. The tour of the Alcuzar is not guided so you may want to look up is history before you go. It is so beautiful and the views are amazing. The bus is comfortable and air conditioned and we had a great driver. There is no lavatory on the bus, so plan your bathroom breaks in the cities. Overall this was a fabulous day and the price of the tour is a great value.Read full review
