We saw a lot of great things, the best in all the cities. We travelled long distances. The bus drivers were smooth drivers making the travel very comfortable. There were extras to pay for certain things but I imagine the tour would have bee..n more expensive if these were included. This type of tour is perfect if you want to see as much as possible without having to walk around a lot.Read full review

The whole experience was great. The tour managers were knowledgeable, friendly, organized and helpful. The hotels were great and in all we will recommend this tour to anybody. The bus drivers were great and we felt safe at all times.
It was a great experience for me and my daughter. Hotels were just fine as expected for budget accommodation.
Tour Manager was very knowledgeable and helpful.

We have mixed experiences about this tour. First of all I'm mentioning bad onces & then I will cover good parts.
Bad Experiences:
1. 1st Day Hotel experience is really very bad. The Clarion Hotel in Calgary City having lot of problems lik..e - water logging in bathrooms, mal-functionl AC, very rude behaviour from font desk staff, making delay in alotting rooms though there wre plenty of vacant rooms are there and we already booked rooms in that hotel a month ago.
2. Transportation from Calgary Airport to Clarion Hotel was very problematic as the authorized Cab driver as well as Hotel Front Desk staff were not co-operating for re-imbursing the money initially. We got the money after we had round of escalations with Hotel Management & Tours4Fun.
3. We have prior experiences in travelling with a tour group where personally we didn't checkedin the hotel. But, in this scenario, first 2 days, we have seen this issue where we need to show all details and enquire about our hotel resevations. There was no Tours4Fun or Wester representative to handle that.
4. 4th day's lunch was just a disaster. There are lot of resturants in Jasper town with ecomonical options for meal/foods. But, not sure why they had booked for a Korean Resturant(Kimichi House) with extremely bad-tasted-soup-only-meal. We were not able to eat this. And they were not providing altenate meal option also though it was already paid by us. They should understand that the meal option should be acceptable to generic people and not for a specific region. Even most of our chinese travel-mates also could not manage to eat that bogus meal. Wester/Tours4Fun also not refunding that meal money for both of us.
Good Experiences:
1. Bus coach driver Paul & Tour Guide Lisa were really good & friendly. They were showing and explaining the places very descriptive ways.
2. Lunch at Fairmont Spring Banff Hotel was just awesome.
3. Hotel Voyeger Inn at Banff & Athabasca Hote at Jasper town are good hotels and nice arrangements in rooms. Though both of them are lacking elevator as they are very old & refurbishes recently. The sceni views from them just breathtaking.
4. Breakfast bouffets are good in all 3 hotels - Clarion at Calgary, Hotel Voyeger Inn at Banff & Athabasca Hote at Jasper town.
5. The places where we went for visting all are superb and gorgous. I can't explain their beauties in words.Read full review
It was great fun. Very well managed and well paced over the 4 days. Hotels were great (except Clarion), food was great.. Most importantly, we had a great tour guide (Lisa Rong) as well as a very courteous driver (Paul) with Westar. Lisa rea..lly went out of her way to take care of guests and some of our personal requests specially on the food menu. The driver Paul was very knowledgeable - he knew the mountains and lakes and certainly a great story teller.Read full review
Ben our guide was very informative, the bus driver Vern was always professional but so helpful and quite funny.
The activities were smoothly run and highlights. All hotel rooms were clean, and spacious. The first an last day were long driv..ing days but necessary.Read full review
The tour is fun but very tiring. There is a lot of ferry rides and coach stays than actual stop overs. There are days that is just dedicated to transfer and your stops are just 30mins-1hr. I can't argue with the visited places as they are a..ll wonderful, but how I wish there are more time for this stops to explore.
Also, compared to other tours we joined, if there are instances that we get long stops which are maybe 3x out of the days - this is a do it on your own. So I strongly advise to take a look at the itinerary where you will have free days and study where you want to go.
All in all, this trip gave us new friends and great memories.Read full review
just finished doing the green line tour. it was fast-paced and the heat wave certainly made it more exhausting. i have no complaints though, and the places we went to were all worth it. Special shout out to the best tour director ever - G..ENO CHEUNG. he showed genuine concern for our safety and welfare. Geno took the extra mile on a lot of occassions. to cite a few examples, (1) thought of seating arrangements in the bus to avoid potential conflicts; (2) he gave up his room & shared he room with the driver so that the family who got bumped off will remain in the same hotel where the group was staying; (3) he arranged for a small train in Pisa to avoid the long walk under the sun, and he even took it out of his paycheck! (4) he booked the best local tour guide for the walking tour in Rome. these are just a few examples. i can see how passionate he is with what he is doing. he also has good rapport with the driver. his personal experiences and witty comments made the long journeys more bearable. it really felt like Geno treated us as his family. would also like to show my appreciation to our driver, Wotnjie (apologies if i mispelled his name). truly thankful and truly satisfied. kudos to Geno & Wotnjie!!!

Tour guide is very unprofessional. Found out that she was sleeping with one of the male travellers in our group. She is interested only to party with the younger travellers. She gives NO notice to the older ladies, who could not cope with t..he group walking, despite she is called upon. She has no local knowledge. She will google about the place as the bus is approaching ,& then read the information from her handphone. She can not speak any of the local language and is dependent on the driver to get us thru the various borders. She is not organised and frankly should not be a tour guide.
Please see attached feedback form, which I have completed for Expat Explorer. Hope this form finds its way back to the compsny.Read full review
