100% Maintenance of cable cars causes long lines and wait times.

The day started off great with Best of Switzerland Tours starting out on time from our coach park in Zurich which was 5 minutes walk from our Central Plaza hotel. Franz our tour guide advised us on arrival that there was maintenance being d..one on the cable cars and that there were lines going up as well as coming down. (Now you tell Us!)It took nearly one and a half hours to finally get up to Mount Titlis, and the same amount of time to get back down. The lines were long and the cable cars filled to maximum capacity (read that as being packed in like a can of sardines!)The restaurant at the top was also packed and people resorted to eating their meals on the stair steps. The view was poor due to weather conditions which of course we had no control over. In hindsight I would have loved to have known that maintenance was taking place during this shoulder season. I could have made a better decision as to whether to go or not.Read full review
This was an amazing experience. So beautiful and our guide Adolfo was a wonderful, caring guide. Really went about and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of.
This is excellent place to visit and all tour operators include it in their itinerary. The entire trip is worth with cable car and rotair. The view is breathtaking. Do enjoy the cliff ride if the weather is good . It cost 12 francs but wort..h it. Really loved Mt. TitlisRead full review
Good half-day activity from Luzern. Take the train to Engleberg - 45 minutes ride. Get a ticket at the Titlus Valley station. Get on the revolving cable car. Mind the weather so be prepared for snow or rain
My recent trip to the UK was an absolute delight! What stood out the most was the incredible hospitality and the mouthwatering Indian cuisine offered throughout the journey. From aromatic curries to delectable samosas, every meal was a culi..nary adventure. What impressed me even more was the attention to detail in providing vegetarian options, ensuring that everyone's dietary preferences were catered to. The warmth and friendliness of the locals added an extra layer of charm to the experience, making me feel truly welcome wherever I went. Can't wait to come back for more savory delights and heartwarming encounters!Read full review
My trip to Germany was incredible! Exploring Berlin's street art scene and visiting the fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle were highlights. The locals were so hospitable, always willing to share their culture and history. Can't wait to explore.. more of this beautiful country!Read full review
This is the second time i have booked with this tour. Sadly, the tour guide assigned this time (Anna) has really left me disappointed.
Anna was not only spartial in her tour speaking, they even skipped the entire Lion monument segment in ..the tour!
She didnt give us any instructions for our drop off at Mt Pilatus until we asked her for information. Our fellow tour passengers managed to keep in contact with each other and we made our way using the written instructions. We were not even issued with our bus tickets back to Lucerne.
Our tour guide experience was of course overcome with the splendidly beautiful and picture perfect stay at Mt Pilatus. The staff and food were excellent!
Thomas, who joined us for Titlis tour was a much welcomed relief! The tour is well organized for the most part of it but the guide can reallly make a diffference.
In my view, if your guide is Catherine in Zurich, she can really make your day! She was the reason i enrolled for a second tour!Read full review
