We did the two day trip from Vegas to the Grand Canyon - (the drive is long so don’t even think of doing in one day. BTW- while Vegas was 106 degrees, the Canyon was 63 at night so dress appropriately). Our guide, Spencer, was experienced.., knowledgable, and just easy to spend time with throughout. The ride to Grand Canyon is long and he made it seem like it just sped by (enjoyed the Hoover Dam and Rte 66 stops). We really enjoyed the Canyon including a sunrise and a sunset, and a walk across the Rim trail -easy to navigate the park. You’ll see option to camp or stay in a hotel - camping was rustic but needing to wake up for sunrise we’re glad we saved a few dollars. We’re sorry we didn’t have more time to visit other places but if we could, we’d go with this firm.Read full review
It was great! First of all, since I wasn't staying in a hotel the office team helped me to find the best place to pick up even I booked only two days in advance. Then the pick up was very
smooth, the van was very comfortable and we had two ..guides (Charlie and Branch) that had so many interesting fact and stories to tell us about and were really nice guys. They made the whole trip very fun. All the stops were worth it. The hotel where we spent the night was very comfortable, clean and the breakfast included was also good. I would recommend you also allocate the money for the Antelope Canyon because in my opinion is amazing. I am so glad I decided to choose this tour.Read full review
Our 2-day canyon tour from Las Vegas was unforgettable, thanks to our guides, Branch and Charlie. From the moment we met them, they made us feel comfortable and provided us with the perfect amount of fascinating information about each locat..ion. Their lively personalities made the trip enjoyable and fun!The first day we started by visiting Hubert. Soon after, we explored a cool Route 66 town and then hiked to the breathtaking Grand Canyon. After driving through the Navajo Nation and its unique landscapes, our evening ended with a fun group dinner. Our hotel was fantastic, it has a
pool, so don't forget your swimsuit!
The next day, we explored the amazing Antelope Canyon (not to be missed) and looked at the views of Horseshoe Bend.
The entire trip was entertaining, educational and very enjoyable, all thanks to Branch and Charlie. I highly recommend this adventure and I will definitely plan a next one!Read full review
Everything was excellently organized by Tours4fun. There was even an app that we downloaded onto the phone for the children and which gave them all the information in German that the guide gave us at various places during the tour. Best tou..r guide ever. Chase was a very thoughtful guide who had great knowledge and did a good job of connecting the group.Read full review
Overall the trip was excellent. The drive was very comfortable with appropriate stops for lunch and dinner. The trip was very well organized and we managed to see everything that was planned. I would have preferred though that our guide be ..with us during the Grand Canyon walk and the horseshoe bend walk for some explanation. But otherwise, I had a great experience as a solo traveller.Read full review
The tour is great and our tour guide - David is really knowledgeable. He gave us a lot of information about Grand Canyon and other major sites along the trip (such as Hoover Dam, Boulder City, Kingman City, Route 66,...). This is a long tou..r and involves a lot of travelling on the road. We only spent around 3 hours actually in Grand Canyon. The tour also came with breakfast snack and a deli box for lunch.Read full review
Tour guide Thomas was very entertaining and knowledgeable on the history and current facts of the area - I learned a few things. Thomas was adamant about times to return to the bus. He also kept us laughing. It made us feel comfortable on.. the long ride. Very enjoyable experience.Read full review
The Canyon was well worth the drive; however, we could have gotten there quicker with less stops. One bathroom/snack break halfway through would have been plenty!
Perfect amount of time at the grand canyon and the stops we did. We unfortunately missed the hoover dam and they didn’t mention why we didn’t stop (think we were running late) and as it was our last day in Vegas we couldn’t plan to go.. again.Read full review
If you don't want to drive 6+ hours, Gray Line is the way to go! They were organized with pick up and the tour overall. Plenty of time to explore parts of the canyon (there are a lot of trails!). This tour is a self guided tour - you do you..r own exploration just within a time limit. Drop off could've been more organized - for example, we did a drop off at Treasure Island AND Mirage (which were basically right beside each other)... I feel like we could've saved some time by having a designated drop off spot that reaches all the hotels in reasonable walking distance.Read full review
In the beginning, the speakers in the bus sounded crisp and clear and I could hear all the information, but after we made our stop, somehow, the volume went a little softer, I had to struggle a little to hear clearly. I think it's important.. to have great sound system because my impression of the narrations that were played was that they were well researched. Our bus driver, Sam, is so nice and accommodating.Read full review
Great experience. Only problem was at every stop one group was 5 minutes late and nothing was said to them. Just a little frustrating. It was a very long trip and they delayed everyone.
