A long (+3,000 kmn) trip but in thoughtfully planned segments and with frequent stops to walk a trail, visit a cultural centre, or enjoy either down time or an optional extra activity. Meghan, our guide/driver, was outstanding: skilled, rel.. iable, dedicated, constantly attentive, yet wrapped it all up in good humour and fun. She created an atmosphere to which we all responded. This trip is a good choice for people who are themselves good-humoured, patient, and both interested in and respectful of the natural world and the First Nations people who are so deeply woven into it allRead full review

This trip was for our 25th wedding anniversary and we've never been to Canada before. What an awesome way to see and learn about a country!!! If you like awesome scenery, getting out and experiencing nature, and learning about history and c.. ulture this company is for you! Our tour guide Meghan was organized, professional, friendly, and fun! She is an excellent driver and makes the traveling very fun. We were given a Bingo sheet of things to be on the lookout for which made it very fun. We had a small, friendly group of 10 travelers which also made it very fun! Our bus was very comfortable and Meghan kept it very clean. We got out to do short hikes and see beautiful waterfalls, so we got to stretch our legs. You are given choices of activities to do which are "a la carte." We did the gondola ride in Banff, the boat ride to Spirit Island on Maligne Lake, kayaking on the Campbell River, and Buchart Gardens for our extras. Even riding the huge ferry from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy was an amazing experience through the Interior Passages. We saw Bald Eagles in the trees along the way and everything was just so scenic! We had heard about the passing of Queen Elizabeth at the beginning of our trip and when we were toward the end of our trip in Victoria we came into town at the very moment they had the bells tolling 96 times for her 96 years. We were able to pull over and participate in the solemn moment of silence with those gathered there at the Parliament building with the flags at half mast to honor the Queen. That was a moment in history that will never be repeated and that was very special. My husband and I toured the Royal B.C. Museum and loved it. The Natural History exhibit and the Climate Change exhibit were great. We loved the Train Time IMAX movie, as well. It was all about the train history in the US, and had wonderful music, scenery, and graphics. It made me appreciate trains in our world, This was, by far, the best vacation I have ever experienced and am so thankful for the memories. At times the scenery is so breathtaking you can't take it all in. Canada is so beautiful and it is overwhelmingly beautiful. The people are so nice, and it is very clean. I am so thankful to Meghan and Discover Canada Tours for such an amazing, fun, and memorable journey! It was a trip of a lifetime!!! Look out for the Goats on a Roof!!!!Read full review
I booked this experience for me and my Mom. It took the stress out of figuring the travel logistics to get on/off the island and to the destinations she wanted to check out. I liked this tour because it was a smaller group and bus, there we..re 18 of us, and the group showed up on-time that we made it early to the ferry and had an extra hour in Victoria on a Sunday since there was less traffic. Our host was Rene who was fantastic with his knowledge of the area, jokes, and friendly nature. He makes a point to get to know everyone and looks out for us when it's time to regroup. He knew how to direct us towards our points of interest. It was a long day but everyone left happy. P.S. I am blind and an amputee and I felt comfortable and included throughout the experience. We also got to do a quick stop at the Terry Fox statue in Victoria which was amazing for me as an amputee which I didn't share at first with Rene!Read full review

This tour is ideal if you're looking to explore some of Vancouver's lesser-known gems. Salt Spring Island’s local markets were a highlight, and the views from Malahat SkyWalk were simply breathtaking.

A unique way to experience the beauty of Vancouver’s surrounding areas. We loved the scenic ferry rides and the peacefulness of Seal Bay Campground. The guide made everything smooth and enjoyable.
The pick-up service was smooth and convenient, and I loved having the flexibility to choose from different tour options. I opted for the Mount Rainier trip, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Our hotel was comfortable, and breakfast was a ..nice perk to start the day. I spent the second day exploring Seattle on my own, which was perfect. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting both guided experiences and free time to explore.Read full review

Booked the one day tour to Lake Louise and we really have a great time. We thought to rent a car and drive there first but with the shortage of car rentals going on we decided to join the tour instead and I'm so glad we did. Everything was ..well organized and we saw many beautiful lakes. It was stress free and well run. Tour guide was amazing and vet informative. Just make sure to pack a lunch if you are not buying the lunch package at Lake Louise as the options are very limited and pricey. Highly recommended overall! ThanksTours4fun.Read full review
