We have returned from our private (2 couple), 11 day guided trip to the Utah National Parks with extension to Death Valley and Yosemite, and can’t say enough superlatives about how beautifully everything went. We were blessed with beautif..ul weather and no adverse effects of the California wildfires. Our upgraded accommodations were all perfect and well curated. Each of the individual parks and monuments had their own grandeur and majesty. Our tour guide, Chelsea Nielsen, could not have been better. She was a delight from first to last. She was knowledgeable, had a special interest in botany and fauna, remained cheerful and upbeat despite the long days spent in the company of ‘seniors’ and was a careful and observant driver to boot. She constantly gave us good guidance as to treks that were interesting and appropriately strenuous, provided snacks and refreshments whenever needed, and, most importantly, remained exceedingly flexible when we requested minor itinerary alterations. This truly felt like a custom trip. We received tremendous “ bang for our buck”. Your trip was more than fairly priced- I know we saw more, had better guidance, and most definitely enjoyed ourselves more than if we had traveled with some better known and much more expensive competitors. I cannot give Bindlestiff enough in rating stars , from the pre-trip planning through to the last day of travel, everything was perfect. Thanks again!!Read full review
I took the 7-day camping tour to Utah national parks and Grand Canyon with Chris as my tour guide. It was my first time camping, Chris was very helpful at walking me through the process of setting up and disassembling the tent. By the end, ..I was able to do that by myself from the start to finish. It was a great camping experience. As for the tour we got to visit many beautiful sites. There are hiking options available for all levels. I would like to thank Chris for being such an excellent guide for making this trip as smooth as possible and attending to everyone's needs. I highly recommend this tour.Read full review
I had such and amazing experience on the 7 day Southwest trip! We saw so many breathtaking sights and every activity planned was curated to be how you wanted to experience it! Our tour guild, Chris, was very knowledgeable in offering sugges..tions for those who wanted challenging hikes to those who wanted to relax with being on vacation and everyone in between. I chose the camping option and really enjoyed meeting and interacting with everyone over campfires and s’mores I will definitely be back for another tour with the company!Read full review
My girlfriend and I came back from a wonderful trip to the American Southwest with Chris Patrick ("Chrispy Patty") as our guide. The national parks are even more beautiful in real life than in photos. Moreso than the parks, for this review,.. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the planning and forethought that Chris put in to make the trip as memorable as possible. His extensive experience as a guide was evident as he had planned out every aspect of the trip, every problem was anticipated, and every scenario or obstacle had multiple back-up options. He made every effort to meet our varied needs (e.g. one member wanted oat milk for her coffee; he fit in a beautiful hike to a creek where we could all swim; he perfectly timed a sunset at dead horse canyon before the rush and to maximize the glow; and many many more). In addition, he was a funny and genuinely *good* guy and really brought the group together so that we were all friends right from the start. I have already recommended this trip to family, friends, and even strangers!Read full review

I recently took a trip with Bindlestiff. It was an awesome experience. The sites and the hikes were beautiful. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful. I plan on using them again in the future and can’t wait for my next trip!
This tour was so good that after I took my godson 3 years ago, I took my adult daughter this time. The sites are amazing. Zion, Bryce, Dead Horse, Canyonlands, Arches, Monument Valley, Horseshoe Bend, Grand Canyon including the helicopter r..ide. It was a hot week with temps near 100 sometimes and our guide Joel Clark showed us some nice places to cool off. During the drives from place to place, Joel shares his knowledge of the local history of the Southwest including the Navajo, cowboy culture (art and literature) to present day Vegas throughout the trip. He provides insight to the area with his geological discussions of the rock formations and the plant and animal life. Camping in tents was very comfortable and listening to Joel play his guitar and sing around the campfire on a cool evening made this all a spectacular trip. Finally, this trip was at the end of June 2020 when Covid restrictions were in place and they did a great job following the guidelines. Thanks Joel for another amazing trip. PS Joel was my guide on the first trip also and both trips were really uniquely awesome.Read full review

This tour takes you to some of the most incredible national parks in the US. Every day we had a chance to hike in and marvel at awe-inspiring landscapes. Our guide Jon went above and beyond in his efforts to make sure that we were able to d..o and see everything that was available in each area we visited. I would highly recommend this trip!Read full review

It was an amazing experience and more than what I payed for. Everything I wanted to see and I wanted to photograph were covered. Especially my trip to monument valley was an eye opener about Navajho culture and experience! Our tour guide Ni..chole went above and beyond to make sure that everything what we wanted was shown and planned these wonderful sunset picnics at every place! My 7-days SW tour was everything you could ask for and more. It was amazing. Joel was a
knowledgeable, patient, entertaining, helpful guide. He had interesting and delightful stories for
every site. It brought life to every landscape. Our.. group was only 4 travelers and I enjoyed each
one of them. I appreciated the optional activities such as canyoneering, (I went repelling for the
first time). Bindelstiff and Joel did everything in their power to make our trip wonderful. SW USA
is a wonderland like no other and I am so glad I took this tour. I would highly recommend it. I
look forward to another trip with Bindlestiff in the near future.Read full review
I cannot say enough good things about this tour group and our guide Joel. In these uncertain
times, they were attentive to all concerns. Prompt on all e-mails and worked with us on changes
to itinerary. Joel was wonderful guide. Hard work..ing, knowledgeable and THOUGHTFUL! He
even got my husband a birthday cake! We are a couple in our 60's and we travel all over the
world. Our anniversary/birthday trip to Italy was cancelled this was Plan B. Exceeded our
expectations! Wear your mask, wash your hands, be considerate of others space, but GO. Go
see the world and call Bindlestiff to plan where!Read full review
Amazing trip, incredible views and memorable moments! Especially loved the Canyonlands and
Arches. Chris was terrific as our guide and went the extra mile to make sure we all got the most
out of our trip. I’d definitely recommend this t..rip to anyone looking to experience the Southwest!Read full review
I had an amazing time on this tour! Everything was organized very well and I had an action
packed week. The tour guide, Chris, knew all the parks like the back of his hand and pointed us
to the best trails and went with us when he could o..nto the trails. We had our tents bc of COVID
which was nice, but not everyone wore their masks in the car. However, masks and hand
sanitizers were always provided and you can follow along in your own car if you don't want to be
in the van. Overall, I felt safe and had a great time on this trip and would totally recommend this
tour!Read full review
Seeing these natural wonders were awe-inspiring on their own and Bindlestiff, with the help of
our guide, Joel, made it even more fun with his expert knowledge of the parks and hiking. As a
first time solo traveler and an occasional hiker.. from Florida with no elevation, I was afraid that I
would be left behind or hold everyone up, but, Joel made sure that I was comfortably going on
my own pace and was always welcomed and included by my awesome trip buddies. A+Read full review
We chose the camping option and we are so glad we did. Tents were easy to set up and everyone helped with camp setup and take down. You just got to know everyone better sitting around the campfire , sharing stories. A few nights got rather ..cold and Marie was on top of getting us other sleeping options for our comfort. Tour bus was comfortable for the 13 of us and Marie was an exceptional driver especially with cargo trailer in tow. She was full of info for each spot we headed to . All destinations were beautiful and had the wow factor . You could choose the level or amount of hiking you wished to do and had more than enough time at each spot. Definitely some early mornings and very busy days so if your into sleeping in and lounging around maybe not the best choice for you. This is one of the best tours we've ever done and would recommend them to our friends. The destinations, our guide Marie and our 11 new friends made it a trip to rememberRead full review
I did the 7 days Southwest Highlights trip (camping) back in early October 2019 and had the best time! I normally would just rate a company without leaving additional comments, but with them I almost feel urged to do so as the level of pers..onal attention, professionalism & overall fun during the tour really made the difference for me. I think it’s safe to say they are among the best, if not the best, excursion experiences I’ve ever had! Would definitely recommend them and will surely look them up again for a next trip to the US myself! Our guide, Marie, was all you’d expect in a tour guide, but unfortunately rarely get; enthusiastic, passionate about all the sights we’ve seen, she gave plenty of personal attention, she was part of the team and not ‘only’ a tour guide, she was respectful & told us lots of interesting stories & bits on all sights and things along the way. Whenever I had a question, she had an answer. Our tour being the last one before winter season, a cold front headed towards the camping sites in the last 2 days of our tour, and Marie felt more than responsible to upgrade us to hotel rooms & constantly checked on us and our needs. She arranged it and kept us constantly up to date on all developments, this is where she really made the difference for me. Camping grounds & services are of good level, most of them have complimentary Wi-Fi, plenty of charging points & good restroom facilities. The vehicle in which we made this trip was comfortable, has good air conditioning, several charging points for electronic devices, so we’d always arrive full of energy at the next destination. Based on each destination, a specific playlist was played on the radio to completely indulge you into the moment of seeing and experiencing a destination for the first time. To me, this showed eye for detail & helped in creating the best memories possible of all these places. The itinerary itself is simply great. A lot of things are covered in one week & leaves time for some relaxation, mostly in the evenings, as well. Multiple options for the day -varying on e.g. intensity of a hike, either hiking or visiting a town- are given as option to you upfront, so you can just go ahead and pick whichever you like most or plan a ‘day off’ from hiking if you’re in need of some rest. For me, my only (really minor) issue with the itinerary was that I really liked the delicious picnic style diner at Dead Horse Viewpoint, but it sort of had an overlap with Canyonlands the next day in terms of views on the scenery. Just Dead Horse Viewpoint would’ve been enough for me, but this is personal, and the next guy might completely disagree with me here. The rest of the itinerary is perfectly planned, and my best memories remain the carefully planned sunset moments – Every night, we were exactly at the right place when the sun was about to set. Great photo opportunities as well! Biggest highlights for me were Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park & Monument Valley. Especially the hike in Bryce Canyon is one of a kind! Thanks, ToursFun, for this wonderful experience. I just feel my Southwest USA experience, a bucket list trip for almost 30 years, would not have been the same when booked through another tour provider, and that’s exactly the feeling I hope to conclude any tour with.Read full review
