Our staff will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Lima.

Your guide will then pick you up from your hotel to begin an exciting tour of Lima’s historic center. Start with a visit to the Aliaga House, a colonial mansion with over 500 years of history, considered the oldest residence in the Americas.

Next, explore the Plaza Mayor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will admire the magnificent Lima Cathedral.

Finally, visit the Larco Museum, located in the traditional Pueblo Libre district. The museum features a comprehensive collection of pre-Columbian gold and silver artifacts, along with unique works of art, providing an immersive experience into over 5,000 years of ancient Peruvian history.

You will be transferred from your hotel to Lima Airport to catch a flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be taken to your chosen hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of this enchanting and magical city, which was once the capital of the Inca Empire.

Your journey begins with a visit to the Santo Domingo Convent, located within the Temple of Coricancha. Next, explore the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin, Cusco's main cathedral. Following this, you will visit the archaeological site of Sacsayhuaman Fortress in the hills surrounding Cusco, the Qenqo archaeological site, the Puca Pucara military complex, and Tambomachay, often referred to as the Inca baths. After the tour, you will return to your hotel.

It is recommended to book the earliest flight from Lima to Cusco.

 

Head to the picturesque town of Chinchero, where you'll explore its stunning agricultural terraces and a 17th-century church built atop an ancient Inca palace. This church is considered one of the earliest Catholic structures in Peru. Along the way, stop at scenic viewpoints to take in the breathtaking landscapes of the Sacred Valley.

Next, visit the Yucay Living Museum, where you can observe traditional Inca techniques used in weaving, adobe craftsmanship, pottery, and silversmithing.

After enjoying a delicious local lunch in the Sacred Valley, continue to the impressive Ollantaytambo Fortress, a significant ceremonial site renowned for its spectacular agricultural terraces that cascade down the mountainside.

At the end of this full-day tour, you'll head to your hotel to relax and rejuvenate with a renewed sense of Inca spirit.

Our staff will transfer you to the Ollantaytambo train station, where you will board a train to Aguas Calientes. For your return journey, you will also take a train back to Ollantaytambo station. Each train ride takes approximately 1.5 hours, and schedules are subject to availability.

Aguas Calientes is located at the foot of Machu Picchu and features a bustling handicraft market, a variety of restaurants, and lodging options. From the town, it is only a 25-minute bus ride to Machu Picchu, an awe-inspiring architectural and engineering marvel believed to have been a sacred site and retreat of the Inca Pachacutec. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu, meaning "Old Mountain," attracts visitors with its majestic history and breathtaking natural beauty. After your tour, you will take a bus back to Aguas Calientes to enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the local restaurants.
