Upon arrival, reception by our staff and transfer to the hotel. Welcome with the mate of Coca leaf, infusion that will help us acclimate. Rest of the day free to rest in the hotel to avoid altitude sickness (3300 mts). Accommodation in Cusco.

Breakfast. In the afternoon, Visit of the imperial city of Cusco. We will go to the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, Awqaypata or plaza of the warrior was called in time of the Incas. We enter the Cathedral, which treasures invaluable colonial works and paintings, like the Cross that arrived with the first conquerors.

We will continue to the Korikancha, Temple to the god Inti, the Sun, on which the Church of Santo Domingo was built, the chronicles tell that this temple was covered with gold in Inca times.

Then we will ascend the archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman, and visit Q'enqo, ancient temple of Puma and where you can see an altar for sacrifices in the inner part of a huge rock; Tambomachay, sacred sources of life and health; Puca Pucará, watchman who took care of entering the city; And the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, beautiful place that radiates peace and tranquility, we will admire the enormous rocks of up to 4 meters of height, that were used in its construction. Return to the hotel. Overnight  in Cusco.

Breakfast. In the morning we will do our gastronomic cusco tour around the city. We start the tour in the traditional market of San Pedro, where we will visit the facilities of the market in a "friendly route" and we will be able to know and taste the typical gastronomy of Cusco.

Then we will go to the Casa Qorikancha Restaurant where our cooking class ready to prepare our representative dishes, which will be made with the products selected in the tour by the market. At the end of our cooking class, we will go to the restaurant halls to taste the dishes prepared by you and the chef.

In the afternoon, we will visit The Pisco Museum, where we will explain about the history of Pisco, where we will explain the history and the Pisco process. Then we will prepare our own cocktail "Pisco Sour". Return to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

Breakfast. In the morning Visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the district of Lamay. We will make a tour of the Lamay Agricultural Lands, we will have an explanation of the traditional methods of agriculture.

Then we will elaborate the Pachamanca, where it will interact with the local people who use this traditional form of Andean cuisine. Once the Pachamanca is ready, we will start with lunch. We will have free time to enjoy the landscape and we will begin our return Cusco and overnight  in Cusco.

 

 

Breakfast. Transfer to Poroy train station. Departure to the village of Machu Picchu, located at the base of the mountain where the Sacred Citadel of the Incas "Machu Picchu" is located. Upon arrival in Machu Picchu Pueblo, our collaborators will assist you to board the ecological bus that will take you to the sacred citadel. On the route you can see a spectacular view of the canyon that forms the Urubamba River. We will enter the citadel and we will enter by its terraces, stairs, ceremonial precincts and places of dwelling. Then after the guided tour, you will have free time to explore the place on your own, relax or meditate. At the appropriate time, we will descend to the town of Machu Picchu to have lunch. Buffet lunch.

In the afternoon return by train to Poroy. Upon arrival our staff will wait for you at the station, from where we will transfer you to your hotel Overnight in Cusco.
