The most visited lake on the Icefield Parkway. In the summer, this area serves as a foraging ground for bears, providing frequent opportunities to spot their tracks. For your safety, please remember to maintain a safe distance from bears. This ice sheet is the largest single ice mass south of the Arctic Circle in North America, with dozens of glaciers originating from here. Being in its midst always evokes a profound sense of awe for nature. The region is also renowned for its Earth meteorological database, preserving centuries of climate changes. You can embark on an ice exploration journey here aboard the Glacier Adventure ICE Explorer - Snocoach to the surface of the glaciers. (stop for about 2.5 hours)
